I'm going to start by talking about a very good friend of mine and a VERY talented young RAP ARTIST
DAVID PRESTON A.K.A DAVEY P, at just 19 years old, this guy sounds like he has already spent a few years in the charts and could be mixing it up with the best of them.
DAVEY P has been honing and practising his rap skill's since he was young, sighting EMINEM and JOE BUDDEN as his inspiration, rapping and freestyling many an hour away to their albums, DAVEY P also includes TYGA, YMCMB, DRAKE and TRAVIE MCCOY as inspirations.
DAVEY P has always been a big fan of RAP Music and the lifestyle and attitude that goes with it, DAVEY P is a fan of old school rap and respects the genre and the rappers who paved the way for the new artist's of today, DAVEY P like's honest and meaningful RAPPER'S and states that one of his biggest inspirations is J COLE and THE GAME.
I't was after watching EMINEM in the film 8 MILE that DAVEY P decided this is what he had to do and set about putting his game plan in to action, stepping up his writing and rapping, which lead DAVEY P to land a spot RAPPING at VISION Night Club In BURY ST EDMUND'S.
I have had the pleasure of working with DAVEY P at JACK JONES, when he was my Jeans Specialist in his part time role at weekends, i can 100% say this guy has got pure talent!, soon as i found out he was interested in rapping and being a rapper i would put him on the spot to perform a freestyle, and let me tell you he did not disappoint me, i was blown away by his ability! DAVEY P has pure natural talent and ability, his rapping his very honest and true, most including aspects of his friends, family and his partner Fran, who he says is one of his biggest inspirations.
At present DAVEY P is not signed to a recoding contract, but i believe that given the right opportunity and time in the studio to show case his ability that DAVEY P can be the next BIG thing.
