TRIVIUM, Trivium are a four piece heavy metal band from Orlando Florida forming in 1999, Trivium came together after vocalist Matt Heafy was spotted at a high school talent show by then vocalist Brad Lewter, who witnessed Matt covering the OFFSPRING'S "SELF ESTEEM", and invited Matt to try out for his band, the pair went to Drummer Travis Smiths house for a try out, where they played METALLICA'S "FOR WHOM THE BELLS TOLL". Impressed with Matt's performance they invited his to join their band TRIVIUM, after several small shows Lewter quit the band and Matt became the permanent vocalist.

On October 14Th 2003 Trivium released their debut album EMBER TO INFERNO, highlights from this album include the epic TO BURN THE EYE, EMBER TO INFERNO, PILLARS OF SERPENTS and MY HATRED.
March 15Th 2005 saw the release of Trivium's second album ASCENDANCY, the album came out to positive reviews, Ascendancy sold over 100.000 copies in the UK and went GOLD. Singles lifted from the album came in the form of DYING IN YOUR ARMS, LIKE LIGHTS TO THE FLIES, A GUNSHOT TO THE HEAD OF TREPIDATION and PULL HARDER ON THE STRINGS OF YOUR MARTYR. Which all went on to be very popular and gained a lot of video-airplay on KERRANG! and SCUZZ.
Ascendancy went on to win the ALBUM OF THE YEAR at the KERRANG! awards.
October 10Th 2006 saw the release of THE CRUSADE, Trivium's third album, the album peaked at number 7 in the UK charts, selling over 60,000 copies and being certified SILVER. Singles from THE CRUSADE were ENTRANCE OF THE CONFLAGRATION and ANTHEM (WE ARE THE FIRE) which all went on to be major hits for the band and live favourites.
Trivium's fourth album SHOGUN released on September 30Th 2008, to good chart success, entering number 6 in the Japanese charts, number 4 in the Canadian charts, number 1 in the UK charts and number 4 in the Australian charts. DOWN FROM THE SKY (which was featured on the SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2010 soundtrack), INTO THE MOUTH OF HELL WE MARCH, THROES OF PERDITION and KIRISUTE GOMEN were the singles to feature from this album.
IN WAVES is the fifth album by heavy metal titans Trivium, released on August 2nd 2011, the album has sold over 22,000 copies and debuted at number 13 on the BILLBOARDS 200 and Number 1 on the BILLBOARDS HARD ROCK CHART, making IN WAVES the highest charted album Trivium have released to date! The single IN WAVES was the first to be released of the album along with the phenomenal Music Video, also BUILT TO FAIL and BLACK.
Trivium have definitely set the standard for any new Heavy Metal band of our generation to live up to, they are the flag-bearers of our time, brining energy, passion and building a very loyal fan base along. Trivium are most definitely a band for the future, being described as being as influential as BLACK SABBATH, SLAYER and METALLICA.
