Festival Delights

For those of you who are following  my DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL BAND REVIEW blog, you'l be aware that i will be attending this years 10th anniversary of the festival along with my fiancée who i'l add has never been to a music festival before. Now iv got to state that me and my fiancée music taste's are worlds apart, were as I'm into Heavy Metal, Rock, Vintage Rock, Jazz, Easy, Rap and many more genre's, my fiancée for a better word is more of a pop lady, including Westlife, Michael Buble, Christina Aguilera and so forth...., how do we function i hear you ask ?? lol. i don't no but we do and we do very well.
I have to be honest and say when it comes to listening to music at home i tend to get more of my way with the music that we listen to than she does, now i know this is unfair on her and i don't mean it to be, but hopefully she understands why, and i absolutely love and adore her for it, i truly do, with out music i just couldn't function properly and i think she is beginning to know this, and to her credit she doesn't moan about it, well not to me any ways.

 Us going to Download this year isn't just about me getting my own way with what holiday we take, iv had to promise her a sunny holiday somewere next year of her choice. Now i will be the first to tell you, and I'm 100% sure she will back me up when i say i cant relax properly at home i always have to be doing something, so the idea of going on holiday somewere and just relaxing by a pool or on a beach every day is my idea of hell!
 But i will say I'm totally looking forward to it at the same time, going on my first proper holiday, especially with her ,i cant wait to spend some quality time together in the sun. But back to DOWNLOAD i know that she is so nervous about going, bless her, but i know why she is going, and that reason is simple, out of love, and love for me, i can safely say there is not one aspect of this she is looking forward to, and to make it worse, these are just some of the bands we will be seeing are LAMB OF GOD, DEVILDRIVER, BLACK SABBATH, ANTHRAX, METALLICA and MACHINEHEAD.
  As you can see a world away from her musical taste! I am determined to take her and show her just how amazing an experiences it can be, and hopeful open her mind ears and eyes up to the music as-well. I will spend the whole weekend trying my hardest to make sure she has a brilliant time and enjoys herself a little to hopefully, I'm not letting her go in to this totally blind thou, i am currently trying to teach her about some of the bands, about the history of DOWNLOAD and about the albums, she is also keeping up to date through my blog as well. I just have to add one last thing and that is to say how much i truly do love her for what she is doing and that i hope she has the most amazing time there with me,
