 BILLY TALENT, Billy Talent are a four piece Punk Rock Band who formed in 1993, they hail from StreetsVille, Ontario Canada, the band consists of,

Vocalist Ben Kowalewicz,

Guitarist Ian D'Sa,

Bassist Jon Gallant,

and Drummer Aaron Solowoniuk.

All four members met in Our Lady of Mount Carmel secondary school, and formed the band PEZZ remaining in the underground scene until 2001, after which the band broke out but had to change their name due to legal reasons with a band of the same name, so be come known as BILLY TALENT.
Their debut offering was WATOOSH! in 1998 then still under the name PEZZ, the album was re-released in 2005 under their new name BILLY TALENT.

BILLY TALENT released their full length debut album in 2003 named Billy Talent, which featured the singles TRY HONESTY, THE EX, RIVER BELOW and NOTHING TO LOOSE. The album went in to the number  six spot in the Canadian charts and went three times platinum, which lead to the album being nominated for BEST ROCK ALBUM at the 2004 JUNO AWARDS.
In 2006 BILLY TALENT II was released, singles lifted were DEVIL IN A MIDNIGHT MASS, RED FLAG, THIS SUFFERING, FALLEN LEAVES and SURRENDER, both RED FLAG and FALLEN LEAVES would go on to both big videos on both SCUZZ and KERRANG. Not only did the album debut at number one in the Canadian charts selling a missive 48,000 copies in its first week! it would also hit the top of the charts in Germany, as well as being certified three times platinum in Canada and two times platinum in Germany.
In 2009 BILLY TALENT released their four album, entitled BILLY TALENT III, again the album debuted at number one in the Canadian charts selling  40,000 copies in its first week, from this album came the singles RUSTED FROM THE RAIN, SAINT VERONIKA, DIAMOND ON A LANDMINE, TURN YOUR BACK and what would go on to be the 2009 number one rock song DEVIL ON MY SHOULDER. Billy Talent went on to win the Best Rock Album of the year in April 2010 at The Juno Awards.
Billy Talent have been nominated for 9 out of 29 awards at the MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARD and 7 out of 17 nominations at the JUNO AWARDS, they have also gone on to be nominated BEST BAND in MUSIC AWARD HISTORY.
