The new line up is now in place consisting of,
Guitarist Laurent Barnard,
Guitarist Stephen Carter,
Bassist Stuart Gili-Ross,
Drummer/Percussionist Lee Barratt and
new Lead Vocalist Wade MacNeil formerly of ALEXISONFIRE.
Gallows released their debut album ORCHESTRA OF WOLVES on September 25 2006 and received much praise, Brett Gurewitz of BAD RELIGION said in an interview it was the best hardcore album since the REFUSED- THE SHAPE OF PUNK TO COME.
Singles lifted from the album include ABANDON SHIP and IN THE BELLY OF THE SHARK. On the 2nd of may 2009 Gallows released their second album GREY BRITAIN, scoring album of the month in ROCK SOUND MAGAZINE and 8/10 on DROWNED SOUND.
It was announced on the 9th august 2011 that Ex-Guitarist and Vocalist Wade MacNeil would be joining the band as their new Vocalist, they released a teaser song entitled TRUE COLOURS and an EP "DEATH IS BIRTH" featuring MONDO CHAOS, HATE! HATE! HATE! and DEATH IS BIRTH would follow on the 5th December 2011.
Im not a big puck fan i have to say but i think gallows had a certain edge with FRANK CARTER, but i think with the placement of new Vocalist WADE MACNEIL, GALLOWS looks set to go in a much heavier direction, high hopes for this new in GALLOWS.
