New Music

Just a quick little story about...well us all really, working in  a music shop I tend to see this quite a lot, and I tend to find my self doing it as well, which always makes me laugh to myself and I always find myself questioning myself, and other people why we all do it ??.

And what it is ladies and gentlemen... why is it that when ever a new CD is released, be it by a new band/artist or an established artist/band , that we find our self's turning the CD over to look at the song titles ??


It's not like were going to know any of the song's is it ?? were obviously going to know the new single, as it's been on the radio or in rotation on some music channel, but were already going to know that song is on the CD, so why do we find our self's checking over the rest of the song's, some of us even go through them , reading them out or reading them to them self's.

Surely just by knowing the artist/band, the album cover or the fact that we know it's out, should make it enough for us to just pick it up and buy it ?? like I said, I to am guilty of this, and to this day I still don't know why I do it lol, it makes me laugh every time.
